Speak easy

Mainly, we all speak the same language. In case someone’s wondering, I got to this very smart remark while talking to Portuguese people that actually do not speak English (the only language – except for Romanian, of course – that I can use without being ashamed).
Following that observation, as the Portuguese do not speak English, I have to mumble something in Spanish, they answer in their own language and I get the information! Do I rule or what?
